We are a leading Australian manufacturing company, supplying solutions for the commercial fishing, lifting, and maritime sectors across Australia. Based in Yatala, we have over 10 years of experience in Australia and 90 years in the European market.
We are seeking a dynamic and talented Business Development Manager to join our sales team, focusing on driving growth within the Australian market.
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for internal and external sales, growing and building strong, enduring customer relationships. Your role will involve being the first point of contact, visiting prospects and customers.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
- Attend to general sales inquiries
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers
- Provide technical and professional advice/solutions on Hampidjan's range of products
- Quote products, services, and projects to various industries
- Identify and prospect new business opportunities and promote our company's product solutions
- Provide regular updates to customers on new products and services via proactive sales calls
Requirements:
- A proven B2B and B2C sales track record with the energy and experience to drive results
- Ability to identify and prospect new business opportunities and promote our company's product solutions
- Provide regular updates to customers on new products and services via proactive sales calls
- An enthusiastic go-getter who can think laterally and works well under pressure
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and CRM/IT skills
- Experience in maritime, commercial fishing, or lifting sectors is advantageous but not essential
- The candidate should demonstrate a track record of sales success and relationship-building skills, be capable of developing market intelligence to identify sales opportunities, and be willing to manage the sales cycle from prospecting to product delivery and installation.
Compensation: $85,000 - $90,000 + Super + Fuel Allowance + iPhone + Laptop
