Job Description:

As a Personal Support Worker, you will directly assist clients with acquired spinal cord injuries in their homes.

About the Role:
  • Transfers in and out of bed and wheelchairs, using hoists as required
  • Grooming, bathing, dressing and dental hygiene
  • Personal care, including toileting, bladder and bowel management
  • Basic wound care and self medication
  • Domestic support (meal preparation, household duties and laundry)
  • Community access (driving to appointments and social activities)
About You:
  • You are an excellent listener and communicator
  • You can work a fixed fortnightly roster (morning, afternoons, evenings and overnights available)
  • You hold a current driver's licence and have a reliable vehicle
  • You hold, or are willing to obtain, NDIS Workers Screening and Blue Cards
  • You are experienced in the field, and/or hold relevant qualifications
