New Vehicle Sales Manager - Wollongong, NSW
Job Responsibilities- To oversee the day-to-day operations of the Sales Department including the preparation of monthly management reports, overseeing expenditure and budget achievement, and mentoring sales consultants.
- Identify and prospect new retail customers from within our primary marketing area
- Understand the customers objectives, buying criteria and decision-making processes
- Build rapport, forming long term business relationships
- Lead and undertake all aspects of the sales process, from prospect through to delivery; and assist less experienced sales consultants
- Promote a subset of company products and services ensuring successful introductions to Car Care and Finance & Insurance
- Attend various business and industry events/meetings as required.
- Lead, inspire and mentor a team of 6 to consistently exceed sales targets
- Drive growth through innovative sales strategies and strong customer relationships
- Maintain a daily focus on business performance, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction
- Champion a culture where NPS and customer loyalty are as important as sales results
- Collaborate across departments to deliver a seamless customer journey
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to stay ahead of the curve
- Previous automotive sale management experience essential, with demonstrated leadership skills within a retail environment is essential.
- Sound administrative and organisational skill sufficient to oversee administrative aspects of the Department
- Exceptional communication skills
- Sound computer skills and a proven ability to maximise output from available databases
- Highly professional approach, together with a proven strong work ethic
- Proven ability to supervise, mentor, and motivate sales personnel to ensure the achievement of targets
- Strong track record of smashing sales goals and motivating teams to success
- Commitment to exceptional customer experiences and improving NPS outcomes
- A goal-driven mindset with the organisational skills to keep a business performing
- Manual Driver's License (Motor Salesperson/Dealer License preferred)
- A passion for leadership and the ambition to make a real impact
