Job Description

Our client are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics & Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimize their supply chain operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills to make a significant impact in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supply Chain Management: Oversee the end-to-end flow of goods, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain optimal stock levels and prevent shortages or excess inventory.
  • Transportation Coordination: Manage transport methods, routes, and schedules for timely deliveries.
  • Warehouse Operations: Supervise storage, organization, and inventory control.
  • Supplier Relations: Build and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers to ensure timely material delivery.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and support logistics staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Budget Oversight: Manage logistics budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure products meet local and global compliance standards.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate for the Logistics & Supply Chain Manager position should be based in Brisbane and come with clear and proven experience of high-level delivery in a similar role. In addition you should be able to meet the following criteria:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities.
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective leadership and team management experience.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and technology.
  • Skilled in negotiation and conflict resolution
