Associate Director at Jenkin Beattie - IT Sales & Tech Recruitment

Our client provides a cutting edge data virtualisation platform that allows their customers to access their up-to-date and in real time data across multiple systems.

They are offering a base salary circa $225k - $250k + super + comms | OTE $450k - $500k

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within large enterprise accounts and assigned verticals.
  • Build and nurture strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, IT leaders, and business decision-makers.
  • Lead complex sales cycles, including discovery, solution development, proposal, negotiation, and contract closure.
  • Partner with pre-sales engineers and solution architects to deliver compelling product demonstrations and tailored solutions.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the platform, competitive landscape, and industry trends to position our solutions effectively.
  • Collaborate with marketing, customer success, and product teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and executive briefings.
  • Accurately forecast sales activity and maintain up-to-date records in CRM systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (MBA a plus).
  • 7+ years of enterprise software sales experience, preferably in data management, analytics, or cloud/SaaS solutions.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding $1M+ annual sales quotas within large, complex organisations.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell to C-level executives and navigate multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, data integration, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and relationship-building abilities.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
