Overview

Due to expansion in our industry, we are seeking a Telecommunications Rigger Supervisor to join our team.

  • Permanent, full-time position.
  • Be available to work Monday to Friday and at times over the weekend.
  • Office located in Craigieburn.
  • Working across all states in Australia
  • Must be able to travel
  • An advantage if you already reside in WA or QLD

Responsibilities
  • Daily reporting and site paperwork.
  • Erecting new telecom structure i.e., Towers, monopole
  • Upgrading existing 4G and 5G networks.
  • Working at heights to install new equipment.
  • Running new cable and plumbing in.
  • Erecting steelwork.
  • Ensuring installation is in line with technical specifications.
  • Commissioning and testing of installed hardware including fault finding.
  • Report non-conformities and suggest improvements to processes and systems

Qualifications / Tickets / Licenses
  • Australian driver's license (HR desirable)
  • National Police Check
  • White card
  • Working at heights tickets (required)
  • First aid & CPR (required)
  • Intermediate/Advanced rigging ticket (required)

Skills and Experience
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working in the telecommunication or construction industry.
  • Basic knowledge in the use of hand tools.
  • Physically fit and able to climb and lift.
  • Be able to work outdoors (rain, hail or sun).
  • Able to take direction and follow Health and Safety requirements.
  • Great problem-solving skills.
  • Great communication and organisational skills.
  • An understanding of quality, safety and environmental systems and principles.
  • Appropriately skilled with MS applications including excel and word.
  • Eager to learn new skills with a strong commitment to continuous improvement and safety
  • Team player with the ability to take direction and collaborate effectively
  • Well-organised, reliable, and able to meet deadlines under pressure
