Telecommunications Rigger Supervisor Role Overview

The successful Telecommunications Rigger Supervisor will lead a team in the installation and maintenance of telecommunications infrastructure across Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of daily reporting and site paperwork.
  • Erect new telecom structures, including towers and monopoles, and upgrade existing 4G and 5G networks.
  • Install new equipment at heights, including running new cable and plumbing.
  • Commission and test installed hardware, including fault finding and resolving issues.
Requirements
  • Australian driver's license (highly desirable).
  • National Police Check.
  • White card.
  • Working at heights tickets.
  • First aid and CPR certification.
  • Intermediate/Advanced rigging ticket.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working in the telecommunication or construction industry.
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools.
  • Physically fit and able to climb and lift.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Great problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
