The Opportunity
We're seeking a motivated and skilled EDRMS Training and Business Support Officer to join our Information Management Services team.
Are you passionate about empowering others through technology and training? As the EDRMS Training and Business Support Officer, you'll play a key role in helping Department of Transport staff make the most of our Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS). You'll design and deliver tailored training programs, provide hands-on support, and create user-friendly resources that make navigating the system simple and effective.
Beyond training, you'll be a vital part of the team that maintains and enhances the EDRMS, ensuring it meets user needs and supports departmental goals. From troubleshooting and stakeholder engagement to system development and documentation, this role offers a dynamic mix of technical and people-focused work, perfect for someone who thrives on variety and making a real impact.

There is currently 1 permanent position available for immediate filling.
The successful applicant or applicants assessed as suitable through this process may receive further offers of employment (fixed term or permanent) in this or similar roles for a period of twelve (12) months from date of first appointment.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Training expertise – Proven experience delivering engaging training to adult learners, using adult learning principles and techniques.
- Analytical mindset – Strong conceptual and research skills to assess training needs and develop effective learning solutions.
- Tech-savviness – Competence in using personal computers and relevant software, with a keen interest in digital systems and tools.
- Clear communicator – Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and liaise effectively across all levels.
- Collaborative spirit – A proactive team player who can also work independently, managing tasks and priorities with minimal supervision.
- Customer focus – A commitment to quality service and stakeholder engagement, ensuring user needs are met with empathy and efficiency.
