About The Role

As the Senior Project Officer, Community Engagement (Identified), your role includes:

  • Supporting the establishment of Shared Decision-Making Bodies and developing a shared decision-making process between schools and communities.
  • Supporting the creation of a Traditional Owner Language Advisory Group and developing a Traditional Language and Culture program with the Traditional Owners of the local community.
  • Providing regular reports to senior officers and division staff on project progress and key performance indicators to aid monitoring and decision-making.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Attending meetings with departmental officers and community members to discuss, evaluate, and revise plans, systems, and procedures.

Travel is required for this position.
