The Weld Club, located adjacent to Perth's Elizabeth Quay, is a prestigious private club offering two dining rooms, functions and accommodation. This leading club is seeking a Full Time Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team on the cold larder/pastry section. The successful candidate will be involved in aspects of the kitchen operation, including preparing and cooking for A la Carte, breakfast, lunch and dinner, buffet service and functions, menu creation and junior staff management.
Responsibilities- Prepare and cook for A la Carte meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner, buffet service and functions.
- Contribute to menu creation and assist with junior staff management.
- Minimum of 3 years\' experience as a qualified chef.
- Cold larder, pastry section experience is an advantage.
- A passion for creating premium quality food.
- Function and A la carte experience is an advantage.
- Positive attitude and innovative mindset.
- Proven longevity in previous positions.
- Attractive remuneration package based on 38-43 hours a week on a 5 day roster.
- Excellent work environment in a well-equipped kitchen.
- A structured, supportive kitchen team.
- Leave at Christmas and New Years for two weeks.
- Easter period off and most public holidays.
- Rotating roster including some weekends and evenings off.
- Afternoon/Evening parking provided.
- Salary: 74k plus super and bonus.
