Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Chef De Partie located in Perth, WA. The Chef De Partie will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes within their specialty. The role includes managing and training any demi-chef de parties or commis working with you. Daily tasks involve maintaining high standards of food hygiene and health and safety, assisting the Head Chef in ensuring that kitchen operations run smoothly, and monitoring the stock and ordering ingredients when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Strong culinary skills in food preparation, cooking, and presentation
  • Experience in managing kitchen staff and training new team members
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations within a kitchen environment
  • Proficiency in monitoring supplies and ordering inventory
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Formal culinary training or relevant qualifications
  • Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
