Hiring Senior Engineers, Geologists, Inspectors, and Consultants in the Southeastern USNOVA Engineering is seeking a CMT Project Manager to work on Construction Materials Testing & Special Inspection projects in the Charlotte, NC metropolitan statistical area (MSA).
Primary responsibilities will include:
- Project management duties including data reduction, analysis & fieldwork for commercial, industrial, retail, government, office and residential projects (Construction Materials Testing/Inspection)
- Client consultation and maintenance
- Report preparation and review
- Field Special Inspection duties as needed
- Training and mentoring field technicians
- Providing assistance to other NOVA team members to promote the overall objectives of the company.
The preferred candidate will have:
- 4+ years of experience in construction materials testing or special inspections in a leadership role is required
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or related field is preferred (not required)
- Engineer-In-Training (EIT) license is required, and PE license is preferred
- Multiple ICC, ACI, NCDOT, and/or PTI certifications if not an engineer

NOVA's facilities include AASHTO-accredited laboratories in soils, concrete, aggregate and hot-mix asphalt testing/inspection. We also have CCRL-inspected laboratories for concrete sampling, curing, and testing.
