Job Title: Commercial Construction Estimator

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented construction estimator to analyze project plans and specifications. The ideal candidate will prepare accurate estimates for materials, labor, and other project costs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to determine project requirements and constraints.
  • Develop and maintain cost databases and historical cost data for future projects.
  • Analyze project design changes and assess their impact on project budgets.
  • Create detailed take-offs and measurements for estimating purposes.
  • Assist with the preparation of bid proposals and participate in bid meetings.
  • Monitor and track project costs against estimates throughout the project's life cycle.

The successful construction estimator will possess strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes, as well as excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
