Overview

The Accounts Assistant will provide overall support to the Finance team in respect of accounts payable, daily banking, month-end process and various tasks to meet its accounting and reporting obligations.

Key Accountabilities
  • Daily Banking – Daily processing and reconciling of customer receipts, refunds, and various payments.
  • Accounts payable – Processing invoices, updating and maintaining vendor data, and reporting on aged payables.
  • Month-end process – Preparation of month-end reconciliations and reporting.
  • Compliance & Audits – Contribute to internal/external audit reviews, ensuring all processes are followed and compliant.
  • Projects and Team Support – Actively participate in NobleOak projects and key finance initiatives, completing analysis where required, showcasing initiative and collaboration to drive results and support our goals.
Key Responsibilities
  • Accurate Documentation – Maintain accurate finance documentation and records at all times.
  • Communication – Provide high-quality, accurate communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement – Contribute to drive process improvement and automation to create value in the Finance team.
  • Delivery Focus – Strive to meet or exceed all metrics and KPIs.
  • Culture Champion – Demonstrate the NobleOak high performance culture and brand values, displaying positivity, energy and integrity, and supporting a positive diverse team dynamic.
  • Problem Solving – Assist the finance team by addressing office queries and issues.
Capabilities, Skills & Experience
  • 2+ years of accounts experience.
  • Accounting/Finance degree would be highly regarded.
  • Strong MS Office experience, particularly Excel; data, analytics, and automation familiarity.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to work proactively, take initiative, and balance quality with delivery.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and high work ethic.
