As a member of the division's leadership team, you will report directly to the Manager Infrastructure Project Delivery and utilize your leadership, strategic, and operational management skills to lead a project delivery team. The ideal candidate is a big-picture thinker, pragmatic yet visionary, self-disciplined, detail-oriented, and maintains high standards. You should be capable of fostering a positive culture, possess negotiation and interpersonal skills, challenge the status quo, and manage day-to-day project delivery within a highly skilled team to achieve strategic objectives.

Essential qualifications include a degree or diploma/trade qualification in a relevant discipline such as Engineering, Project or Contract Management, Building/Construction, along with extensive industry experience and proven leadership and management skills.

  • Knowledge of project/contract management of multi-disciplinary infrastructure/construction projects
  • High-level leadership capability to foster positive team culture aligned with organizational values
  • Decision-making, negotiation, facilitation, and problem-solving skills to achieve best practices
  • Experience in recruitment, engagement, performance management, and retention
  • Advanced computer literacy in applications such as Microsoft Office, project management, and record-keeping systems
  • Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience developing policies, procedures, and guidelines for process improvement
  • Experience in preparing contract documentation, technical specifications, and assessing quotes/tenders
  • Current 'C' class driver's license

Salary range is $116,412 to $124,121 per annum, depending on skills and experience, with benefits including:

  • 12% superannuation with optional additional contributions
