Overview

Stirlings Performance Steels, established in 1973, is a privately owned stockholding and processing distributor of Stainless & Performance Steel products. We are seeking a Senior Sales Estimation Manager to join the Processing Estimation Team. The team specializes in providing customers with package pricing for CNC Laser & Bandsaw Processing services. The company operates two high-powered fiber lasers capable of laser cutting up to 150mm thick stainless-steel plate. This role offers an opportunity for someone with high-level sales estimation experience in CNC processing, requiring involvement in the full sales and customer service cycle from enquiry through to presenting a competitive package. The role involves collaborating with a larger team to facilitate demanding and complex orders, supporting customers, building strong working relationships, and contributing to business growth.



Base pay range

$90,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr



Responsibilities
  • Providing detailed quotations to customers utilizing Stirlings CNC processing equipment
  • Development & maintenance of assigned customers, industries, products & services
  • Full order & contract management – to provide customers with consistent and up-to-date communication on projects
  • Supporting our national sales team with specialist product and project requirements


Qualifications
  • Advanced knowledge of the stainless steel or steel industry would be well-regarded but not essential
  • Advanced knowledge & experience on CNC processing via laser, plasma & waterjet processing
  • Previous experience in sales servicing or within Industrial Wholesale, including industries related to Engineering, Fabrication, Water Treatment, Building, Marine, and Mining, would be advantageous but not essential
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • The ability to work within a team to achieve the best service delivery for our customers
  • A high level of customer service capability & ethic
  • Must have full working rights for Australia
