About The Role We are seeking a skilled Social Media & Content Manager to join our Marketing & Communications team on a 13-month parental leave contract.
In this role, you will lead the delivery of integrated social media marketing and content creative efforts across LifeFlight's diverse channels. You will craft and share compelling content, build brand recognition, foster community engagement, and drive awareness of our foundation, community activities, and commercial capabilities. As part of a talented and energised marketing team of design, AV, marketing and communication roles you will have the opportunity to help us grow quickly.
During your contract period you will play a key role in exciting projects such as a brand awareness campaign, new base openings, launching Visitor Centers and leading social media campaigns for foundation appeals and our First Minutes Matter community programs. We are looking for you to bring your creative energy, sharp strategic thinking, and a strong grasp of social media best practice to ensure our content not only tells our story but makes a real impact.
About You We are looking for the following skills, experience and attributes:
- Minimum five (5) years' experience in a social media role
- Significant experience managing multiple social media channels and accounts
- Strong knowledge of social media strategy, community management, and industry trends
- Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into practical actions and activities
- Experience producing and writing content for social media and video-based projects
- Superb written and verbal communication skills, with a creative, strategic, and risk-aware mindset
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills
- Postgraduate qualification in marketing, advertising, communications or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Willingness to mentor peers and lead a Content & Media Coordinator
