**Description**:
Now is your opportunity to be part of the Pillow Talk Fabric, by joining us in this highly exciting Social Media and Content Specialist role based at our enviable Darra Head Office. As a Social Media and Content Specialist at Pillow Talk, you will champion telling our story and connecting with our customers through our organic social and owned content channels. As part of the marketing campaign team servicing both our brick-and-mortar and eCommerce stores, you will diligently plan and execute all organic social content with special consideration given to customer engagement, social market trends, seasonal timing, and marketing campaigns. You will interact with customers in our social channels, create content for paid social, work with influencers, generate content that can be used across owned channels, and more You will unearth new opportunities to engage with our customers online, keeping it fresh and appealing through your creative ideas, keen aesthetic eye, and conversational copy to inspire and connect with our existing and prospective customers. You will work closely with the Brand and Events Manager to support brand initiatives as part of the stores and events calendar. This includes copywriting, and production assistance of marketing and promotional material such as videos, content, collateral, press releases and campaign assets, to deepen Pillow Talk's credentials to attract new customers, incentivise loyalty, and contribute to positive community engagement.
A bit about you...
2-3 years' experience working within a marketing or retail environment with an understanding of customer centric engagement in social media and content channels
Demonstrated ability to manage an organic social media plan, including ideas, visuals and captions which drive growth, engagement and positive brand association
Demonstrated ability to design a fresh and inspiring social media feed which authentically connects the brand to customers
Experience using the back end of key social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest)
Experience using social media scheduling technology
Passion and enthusiasm for social media, trends, fashion and homewares
Keen eye for design aesthetics and styling
Developed copywriting skills and astute grammar for caption short copy, as well as inspiring brand narratives which connect with key target audiences
Ability to create low cost and timely social video assets
Exceptional communication and appreciation of customer relations which lead to positive resolution outcomes
Natural ideating ability, offering proactive creative ideas and solutions
Highly developed organisational skills and time management needed to stay grounded and in control within a fast paced promotionally driven environment
A challenger, with courage to challenge the status quo and a dynamic and pragmatic approach to complex solutions
Self-motivated individual with the ability to energise others
