Part-Time Temporary Receptionist

Location : Rydalmere, NSW

Employment Type : Temporary | Part-Time (Wednesday – Friday)

Hours : 8:00 am – 4:00 pm

Start Date : ASAP

An established and highly regarded organisation based in Rydalmere is seeking a professional and reliable Receptionist to join the team on a temporary, part-time basis.

This front-of-house role plays an important part in creating a positive first impression for visitors and supporting smooth day-to-day office operations. The ideal candidate will bring a polished communication style, strong organisational skills, and a friendly, proactive approach to administration.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Greet and assist visitors at reception, including coordinating initial sign-in at the boom gate.
  2. Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional manner.
  3. Manage meeting room bookings and maintain tidy shared spaces.
  4. Receive and distribute incoming mail and deliveries, liaising with the internal mailroom.
  5. Provide general administrative support using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, etc.).
  6. Assist internal departments with ad hoc administrative tasks as required.

About You :

  • Previous experience in a receptionist or front desk role.
  • Professional presentation and excellent communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Reliable, courteous, and able to work independently.
  • Available for immediate start and committed to the assignment until December 5.
  • No holidays during this period.
