Cocktail Bar Manager

This is an exciting career opportunity for a forward thinking and creative cocktail visionary to take charge of StoryVille's cocktail and beverage operations.

StoryVille is looking for a world class mixologist and leader to take us to new heights. You will be responsible for the operational management of our cocktail trade including nurturing a team of 15, constant new menu creation, customer experience innovation and overseeing functions while becoming a face of the venue.

Opportunity:

Are you ready to lead our extraordinary team as our beverage lead? Reporting directly to the General Manager/Owners you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the StoryVille experience. With a Tuesday to Saturday roster, you'll oversee a dynamic team of up to 15 staff as they deliver your drinks list to a willing and thirsty audience

With 4 other venues under our umbrella, the right candidate will be able to expand this opportunity across multiple venues and a diverse range of drinks lists.

We're Seeking a Leader With:

A passion for curating exceptional cocktail and beverage lists

Exceptional customer service and personable skills

Experience booking and managing functions, events and activations

Proven expertise in staff leadership, management, and engagement

Experience in rostering and labour management

Dedication to training and development initiatives

Proficiency in cash management and financial acumen

Knowledge of stock and COGs management

Strong relationships with suppliers and vendors

Experience in coordinating promoters, hosts and DJs

Understanding of compliance and OH&S regulations

The Role:

As the Cocktail Manager you'll embrace a multifaceted role that spans every facet of our business. You will be "the face" of the venue during our busiest periods across our cocktail service and nightclub service portions of the night.

You will ensure that customers are wowed from the moment they walk in our door while managing all areas of bar, floor and back of house operations.

Your mission will be to cultivate a vibrant culture while ensuring StoryVille remains at the pinnacle of Melbourne's nightlife scene.
