Woods & Co Recruitment has partnered with one of Australia's most influential hospitality groups in search of a Bar Manager and Floor Supervisor to join the opening team of their newest venue. Inspired by South American flavours, fueled by tequila and cocktails, this intimate venue offers a sophisticated dining experience focused on quality and craftsmanship.

What's in it for you?

  • Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 + Super (Bar Manager) | $75,000 - $85,000 + Super (Floor Supervisor)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the bar and floor team, manage rosters, and foster a strong team culture
  • Deliver outstanding guest experiences, act on feedback, and ensure compliance and safety
  • Oversee venue operations including stock ordering, cash handling, and end-of-day reconciliations
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and training to develop a capable and motivated team
  • Collaborate with management on promotions and initiatives, bringing fresh ideas to enhance the venue and guest experience
  • For Bar Manager: Bring extensive cocktail knowledge and oversee beverage excellence

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience in a cocktail bar or similar setting, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role
  • Experience in opening new venues (essential)
  • Strong operational skills including compliance, rostering, and stock management
  • Genuine passion for cocktails, tequila, and delivering excellent guest experiences
  • Ability to lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team
  • Availability to work a 5-day roster, including weekends
