Job Description

The Role

Civeo Australia are looking for highly experienced FIFO Catering Managers (with a minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or Chef Trade Certificate) to join our WA Operations on a full-time basis to assist in providing first-class service to our Camps based throughout our WA network. These roles are FIFO and working an 8:6 roster flying from Perth airport.

Experience
  • Proven track record in Mine Site Catering, hotel or restaurant background or associated industry
  • Demonstrated successful staff management experience
  • At least 5 years' experience in Chef Management in the service, hospitality or similar industry.
  • Experience in understanding and managing a Profit and Loss statement.
  • Experience in Menu development
  • Experience with ISO, HACCP and other relevant quality standards.
  • Highly developed negotiation skills with client relationship management and support
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software including Excel.
  • A working knowledge of JDE and Triniteq , software desirable but not essential.

Skills And Knowledge Required
  • Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery or Chef Trade certificate (NVQ/City & Guilds accepted)
  • Applied knowledge of HACCP principles in a bulk cooking environment
  • Ability to create service schedules on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
  • Applied knowledge of workplace safety systems and compliance requirements
  • Intermediate skills with regards to Microsoft Office applications
  • Budgetary and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of relevant kitchen chemicals, including their application and storage.
  • You must have a valid drivers' licence (Class C).
