Role

Civeo Australia are looking for highly experienced FIFO Catering Managers (minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or Chef Trade Certificate) to join our WA Operations on a full-time basis to provide first-class service to our Camps across the WA network. These roles are FIFO and operate on an 8:6 roster flying from Perth airport.

Experience
  • Proven track record in Mine Site Catering, hotel or restaurant background or related industry
  • Demonstrated successful staff management experience
  • At least 5 years' experience in Chef Management in the service, hospitality or similar industry
  • Experience in understanding and managing a Profit and Loss statement
  • Experience in Menu development
  • Experience with ISO, HACCP and other relevant quality standards
  • Strong client relationship management and negotiation skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software including Excel
  • Working knowledge of JDE and Triniteq; desirable but not essential
Skills And Knowledge
  • Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery or Chef Trade certificate (NVQ/City & Guilds accepted)
  • Applied knowledge of HACCP principles in bulk cooking
  • Ability to create service schedules on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
  • Advanced knowledge of workplace safety systems and compliance
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Budgetary and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of kitchen chemicals, including their application and storage
  • Valid driver's licence (Class C)
