We're a growing hospitality group behindSouthbank Beer Garden,South Beach,The Beaumont, and Birdees— a diverse portfolio of venues ranging from stand alone premium function spaces to Brisbane's biggest party playgrounds.
We're looking for a Group,Sales, Events & Functions Managerto take charge of driving function and event revenue across the group. This role is perfect for a go-getter who knows how to build relationships, fill calendars, and deliver results.
Leading a team and driving results will be key in this role, working alongside a talented Head Office team to achieve your goals.
We are looking for the right candidate to take ownership of the role and to make it their own. The venues have an established functions and events business, however with the right person at the helm we would expect to see large growth on top of the established business. The package for this candidate will include both a salary and a sales based commission/incentive based payment and the chance to be a leader in a fun and relaxed team environment.
About the roleOwn the full sales cycle for private and corporate events across multiple venues
Drive proactive outreach, lead generation, and new business development
Respond quickly to enquiries and convert leads into confirmed bookings
Work to monthly and quarterly revenue targets — with uncapped earning potential
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, agents, and community networks
Collaborate with marketing, venue managers, and operational teams for seamless delivery
About youProven track record in sales — ideally in events, functions, or hospitality
Target-driven, self-motivated, and commercially minded
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and closing skills
Ability to multitask across different venues and styles (casual to premium)
Comfortable working autonomously while leading and inspiring junior staff
Experience using CRM tools and event management platforms a bonus
