About the role

We seek a compassionate and dedicated Aged Care Worker to join our team at Pearl Home Care Gippsland, VIC. As a casual Aged Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our elderly and disabled clients, helping them maintain their independence and enhance their quality of life.

What you\'ll be doing
  • Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, grooming, and meal preparation
  • Providing emotional support and companionship to clients
  • Documenting client progress and reporting any changes in their condition
  • Adhering to all safety and quality standards in the delivery of care
  • Collaborating with the care team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients
What we\'re looking for
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification in Aged Care or Disability Support
  • Experience in a similar aged care or disability support role, preferably in a community-based setting
  • Minimum 1-2 years of aged care or disability support experience is required for this position
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clients
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of our clients
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing the highest standard of care. Current First Aid certificate and National Police Clearance
  • Working with Vulnerable People check is required for this role
  • Current Driver\'s Licence and a fully maintained, registered, and insured vehicle
