About DoveTouch Specialists and Golden Point Medical Centre

We are an accredited Medical (GP) and Specialist centre based in Ballarat and Bacchus Marsh in Victoria. We look to provide Specialist Medical care within the community. Our clinics are located in Bacchus Marsh and at Golden Point in Ballarat.

Our services include Specialist services (Paediatricians), GP services, Nursing and Allied Health Services.

About the role:

We are urgently looking for EXPERIENCED Medical Practitioners (GP), Nurses and Reception staff.

Additionally, we are open to other candidates namely Paediatricians and Allied Health (Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Social Worker, Psychologists, Allied Health Assistants).

Skills and experience - GENERAL

Current registration with AHPRA (Medical Professional) and / appropriate professional groups in Australia.

Qualified to work in Australia.

Completion of relevant health (similar) degrees.

For GPs, Paediatricians - Previous GP and / Specialist experience is desirable.

For GPs - Our clinic is accredited for FSP. We are open to recruiting Registrars who are in the FSP, ACRRM pathways. (Note: We do not provide Supervision to level 1 Registrars)

For Nurses and Receptionists: Experience in GP / environment required.

For AHPs / AHAs - Completed qualification and registered to work in Australia

About the role:

• As our newly appointed General Practitioner, you will be available to work Full-Time for 8-10 sessions each week. They include rostered hours and occasional weekends.

• Excellent earning potential applies. Our remuneration is generous as we offer a percentage on billings based on experience. Salary per annum AUD $82,000 - $150,000.

Job Role:

· Conducting examinations and having patient consultations to determine the nature of disorders and illnesses and recording patients' medical information through appropriate coding.

· Organising pathology tests, x-rays and other diagnostic procedures, and interpreting findings to assist in diagnosis.

· Providing overall care for patients including but not limited to prescribing and administering treatments, medications, remedial measures and patient management plan.

· Organising recalls and monitoring patients' progress and response to treatment.

· Advising on diet, exercise and other habits which aid prevention and treatment of disease and disorders including organising appropriate health / age-appropriate plans.

· Referring patients to and exchanging medical information with specialist medical practitioners and / allied health practitioners.

· Reporting births, deaths and notifiable diseases to government authorities.

· Organising emergency referrals and following up with the hospitals and / specialists.

· Following RACGP guided patient management plan – including but not limited to immunisation, care plan, health assessment/s etc

Requirements

• Qualified and meeting AHPRA Guidelines and Requirements.

• Have current AHPRA Registration (Note: Minimum General Registration required)

• Demonstrated experience working as a General Practitioner.
