
Consulting Cyber Security Consultant Professional Multiple Cities

Your role and responsibilities
- Security Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive cyber security strategies and plans to protect SAP solutions and Azure environments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align security initiatives with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate cyber security risks associated with SAP solutions and Azure infrastructure.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to ensure compliance with security standards.
- Security Architecture and Design:
- Design and architect secure SAP and Azure environments, incorporating best practices and industry standards.
- Implement security controls and measures to protect against cyber threats.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans to address security breaches and incidents.
- Lead incident response efforts, ensuring timely and effective resolution of security incidents.
- Compliance and Governance:
- Ensure compliance with relevant security regulations, standards, and policies.
- Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to maintain a strong security posture.
- Training and Awareness:
- Develop and deliver security training programs to educate employees on cyber security best practices.
- Promote a culture of security awareness within the organization.
- Technical Expertise:
- Provide expert guidance on cyber security technologies, tools, and methodologies.
- Stay updated with the latest cyber security trends, threats, and best practices.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, legal, and compliance, to ensure holistic security coverage.
- Effectively communicate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required technical and professional expertise
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. A postgraduate degree is preferred.
- Certifications:
- AGSVA security clearance is mandatory. Baseline as a minimum, preferably NV1. Or must be an Australian Citizen with ability to obtain clearance.
- Relevant cyber security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are preferred.
- Experience:
- Proven experience as a Cyber Security Consultant, with a strong focus on SAP solutions and Azure environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in cyber security risk management, incident response, and compliance.
- Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of SAP security architecture and best practices.
- Proficiency in Azure security features and services.
- Strong understanding of cyber security frameworks, standards, and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001 and NIST).
- Experience with security tools and technologies, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal. Additional language skills are an asset.
This position requires a Cyber Security Consultant with a high level of expertise who can provide expert cyber security guidance, implement security measures, and ensure the protection of our SAP solutions and Azure environments.
