Where you'll be working

Tertiary Referral for Psychosis (TRSP), Eastern Suburbs Mental Health Service, located on the Prince of Wales Hospital Campus, Randwick.

Responsibilities

Support consumers and families in managing complex psychotic disorders and contribute to a high quality clinical service within the TRSP.

Selection Criteria

• Full Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA), with endorsement in Clinical Neuropsychology (or eligibility to progress towards same), along with a minimum two–year full-time APAC-accredited postgraduate Masters or Doctorate degree in Clinical Neuropsychology.
• Demonstrate excellent skills and experience in adult neuropsychological assessment of people with psychotic disorders and/or neuropsychiatric disorders.
• Demonstrate experience in the treatment of patients with cognitive impairment, using cognitive remediation therapies.
• Demonstrate experience in conducting research in patients with psychotic disorders and/or neuropsychiatric disorders.
• Demonstrate excellent negotiation, decision making, communication and advocacy skills including the ability to interact constructively and collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders at all organisational levels.
• Proven ability to provide high level clinical advice and education to enhance service delivery and to guide and support others in providing service excellence to consumers, families and carers, while demonstrating commitment to ongoing clinical and professional learning.
• High level computer literacy and the capacity to use health information systems.
• Current NSW drivers licence.
