Role purpose
Reporting to the Workplace Relations Manager, the key purpose of the Payroll Specialist is to provide fortnightly and monthly payroll processing for our people, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and production of internal reporting and reconciliation requirements. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for providing support to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the Payroll System, assisting the Senior Payroll Specialist and developing relevant supporting documentation for continuous improvement of payroll processes.
What will you bring?You will be a payroll professional with demonstrated experience in payroll processing, analysing and interpreting Awards, implementing changes in conditions and a proactive approach to assisting our team members and resolving payroll issues. You will have demonstrated experience with integrations between payroll and time & attendance systems and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS). You will have excellent stakeholder management, communication and interpersonal skills and be passionate about delivering a high-quality customer experience in a timely manner.
