A great opportunity now exists for experienced Manufacturing Operators working rotating shifts, including day, afternoon, and night shifts.

About the Role : Primarily, this position is responsible for carrying out manufacturing functions safely within an extrusion facility, ensuring quality control measures are achieved.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Operate equipment and perform tasks in line with site Work Instructions / Safe Operating Procedures
  2. Ensure product quality and packaging standards are maintained and comply with delivery targets
  3. Participate in training to become a multi-skilled team member
  4. Communicate and endorse safety practices, monitor key safety performance indicators, and promote safety policies and initiatives
  5. Take full accountability for personal safety and well-being, develop an understanding of risk minimisation, and commit to achieving high standards for Safety, Health, and the Environment (SH&E)

ESSENTIAL

  • Understanding of basic safety principles
  • Ability to work autonomously and maintain high activity levels across all shifts
  • Demonstrated experience working in a team environment
  • Basic understanding of quality principles

DESIRABLE

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with automated machinery
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems or contribute to resolutions
  • Forklift licence
  • Experience and knowledge of material handling
  • Basic computer literacy skills
