Senior Production Manager Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join our operations team as a Senior Production Manager. As part of this role, you will take ownership of various key functions at one of our largest manufacturing sites based in Padstow, NSW.

You will lead the site manufacturing team to deliver operational targets on-time/in-full, with the right quality, in a safe environment, focusing on delivery, cost and employee engagement.

  • Lead daily production meetings to ensure schedule adherence, quality, cost, material usage and productivity targets are met.
  • Train and coach staff, engaging in regular constructive conversations around performance.
  • Monitor rosters/hours of work to ensure manufacturing costs are within target.
  • Ensure optimal management of raw materials, packaging inventory, weekly staging and efficient management of changeovers.
  • Demonstrate and promote a strong safety culture by leading compliance with site protocols, ensuring team accountability, identifying and mitigating hazards.

Requirements
  • Proven experience working in a similar manufacturing environment.
  • Experience managing financial budgets.
  • Able to lead and develop a team across multiple shifts (6am and 9am starts).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence different stakeholders.
  • Technologically adept with strong computer skills.
