Job Description

Your Career
The Major Account Manager partners with customers to secure their entire digital experience. You will lead and drive sales engagements for large, complex deals, connecting customers to a solution for every stage of threat prevention. This role contributes significantly to company revenue and growth.

Palo Alto Networks is driving platformization with best-in-class solutions to build a zero-trust security architecture. To ensure our sales team is prepared, we offer FLIGHT, an immersive onboarding program blending virtual and in-person learning at our headquarters.

Your Impact

  • Drive and orchestrate large, complex sales cycles with internal partners to best serve the customer
  • Apply consultative selling to identify business challenges and create solutions
  • Understand the competitive landscape and customer needs to position the portfolio
  • Develop a detailed territory plan with clear goals and accurate forecasting
  • Leverage customer stories to create a compelling value proposition
  • Stay updated on industry trends and their impact on Palo Alto Networks products
  • Travel within your territory and to company-wide meetings
Qualifications

Your Experience

  • Experience and knowledge of SaaS-based architectures, ideally in networking or security
  • Demonstrated experience selling complex solutions, value selling, or consultative sales
  • Technical aptitude for understanding how technology products solve business problems
  • Ability to identify problems, analyze data, and provide scalable solutions
  • Cultivate relationships with channel partners for a channel-centric go-to-market
  • Knowledge of full sales cycle and a structured sales process
  • Holistic problem-solving with an understanding of interdependencies and outcomes
  • Excellent time management with autonomy and self-direction
