The Grade 1/2 Pharmacist is responsible for the provision of quality pharmaceutical services to inpatients and outpatients. Grade 1 and 2 rotate between the clinical & service area rosters. On clinical duties they provide pharmaceutical care to inpatients and in the service areas they provide pharmacy support to the dispensaries and production. Pharmacists, Grade 1 and 2, provide education and medicines information services to patients and other health care professionals and participate as active members of multi-disciplined teams. Ideal Candidate
- Current Pharmacist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), or eligible for immediate registration, and able to practice independently. Grade 2 Pharmacists must meet the criteria set out in the Award and are expected to be able to demonstrate continual ability to meet three of the five competencies within the Award.
- Ability to apply current and good practical therapeutic knowledge in a clinical environment.
- Demonstrated ongoing commitment to the professional development relevant to areas of practice.
