Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Client Solutions Lead to join our team in a 10-month parental leave cover role. The Client Solutions Lead is a highly collaborative position within our Powered Client Solutions team. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering market-leading, integrated solutions for Nine's clients. Working closely with the broader Studios, Powered and Sydney sales teams, you will focus on building commercially viable and innovative campaigns. These campaigns will span Nine's key TV, radio, digital and print verticals, including our tentpole programming such as Married At First Sight, The Block, NRL and The Australian Open. This is a chance to work across a diverse media landscape and contribute to significant client initiatives
Day to day you will:
- Review and interpret client briefs to gain a deep understanding of the brands marketing challenges in order to unpack the winning solution
- Successfully manage brief to pitch process from end to end on designated responses
- Lead and contribute to brainstorms and ideation on your assigned projects, fostering a culture of creativity
- Develop holistic solution with a compelling narrative, clear overarching idea and rationale throughout response, striving for creative excellence
- Work with research and category experts in the business to articulate the role of selected channels and Nine brands, delivering why Nine, justifying recommended solutions, and how they deliver against the client's objectives
- Collaborate with Content Partnerships teams to ensure all formats and platforms are considered for relevant briefs, with the best mix ultimately put forward
- Act as strong support for sales in providing strategic communications advice, working closely with sales team on the pitch presentation giving clear direction
- Promote new ways of thinking/working to deliver BIG IDEAS for brands and agencies
- Represent Powered Sydney and attend client briefings, presentations and meetings as required
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of relevant media experience, ideally in an integrated sales, strategy or solutions function, with demonstrated experience working on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, creative environment
- Ability to analyse client needs and use them to develop an effective, creatively led, commercial solution
- Ability to convey complex ideas/information in a simple and impactful way
- Excellent organisational skills, with strength in planning, time-management and follow-through, delivering to strict deadlines
- Confident presentation skills, including advanced use of Powerpoint
- Desirable qualifications, experience & skills: Solid understanding of marketing and comms principles, including fundamentals of channel planning and strategy
- Strong relationship building skills across varying areas of business/seniority, both internal and external, with the capability to influence, negotiate and mediate to reach an optimum outcome for all parties

About this Opportunity:
As we continue to innovate and grow, we are looking for a Client Solutions Manager to join Johnson Controls. This role will focus on the Building Management System (BMS) / Controls projects and will be primary responsible for securing sales growth through install base initiatives that result in Labour & Materials (L&M) opportunities for the VIC service business.
Develop short and long-range sales plans and prepare sales strategies and submissions to reach nominated targets for the VIC BMS Service Business.
Working with the service department to proactively identify existing install base BMS initiatives sales opportunities.
Managing the preparation and submission of sales proposals in line with Johnson Controls corporate policies and processes.
Participate in tender requests to, with the submission of Johnson Controls Products, Systems and Solutions.
Delivers assigned business plans achieving secured sales volume ($) and gross margin ($) vs Plan
Provides information to management regarding the industry and recommends plans to maximise future business in line with the Service growth strategy.
Fosters strong relationships with all Customers and provides sales and technical support to Contractors, Consultants and End-Users in order to maximize solution sales and customer satisfaction.
What we are looking for:
- 5-10+ years' experience in the Controls industry.
- Proven Sales ability including year-on-year growth.
- Ability to communicate both internally and externally at all levels and understand customer needs and priorities.
- Excellent leadership, communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills.
