About the position:

The Service Technician trainee is an entry level role within Precision Automotive Equipment with the hope for you to progress to a qualified Service Technician. Your main role will be assisting the qualified technician with the installation, maintenance and repairs of a variety of equipment in mechanical workshops.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide service and customer support
  • Assist with on-site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks as set out by the supervisor
  • Assistance with the production of service reports
  • Document processes
  • Follow all company's procedures and protocols
  • Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organisation
  • Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations in consultation with supervisor

Brisbane Airport, QLD

Requirements:

  • Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Hold a current Drivers licence
  • Genuine interest in an automotive technical trade service
  • Interest in diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining solutions
  • Reliable and positive attitude towards learning
  • Mechanically minded
