We are excited to announce Intake 2 of our Certificate I in Hospitality paid traineeship through the Better Ventures Program


This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to gain and further the essential skills and knowledge to excel in the hospitality industry.

This 24-week paid traineeship combines hands-on experience in a real café, commercial kitchen & function space with nationally recognised training. You'll gain practical skills, industry certifications, and personalised mentoring – all while getting paid to learn.

Undertaking face-to-face training in Caboolture, this program combines theory and practical assessments.

Participants must be motivated and prepared to consistently attend work and complete the traineeship.


In addition to Certificate I in Hospitality:

  • Responsible Service of Alcohol & Gambling (SITHFAB021 & SITHGAM022)
  • Barista Certificate (SITHFAB025)
  • Blue Card & Yellow Card
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Training
  • Food Health & Safety Training
  • Mental Health First Aid Training

We go further than training – you'll receive 1:1 mentoring, job readiness workshops, industry & interview clothing, and tailored support to find employment after the program.

Location: Better Together & Lagoon Creek Cafe at 11 Toovey Street, Caboolture

Duration: 24 week program, 7:45am to 3:45pm, Monday to Friday (full-time)
