Responsibilities
  • Manufacture custom orthopaedic devices designed and fitted by Prosthetists/Orthotists
  • Use skills in plastic moulding, fibre lamination, CAD, 3D printing, and safe power tool operation
  • Manage stock and ensure workshop safety
  • Mentor junior Technical Officers, students, and clinical staff in fabrication techniques
About You / Qualifications
  • Experienced in prosthetics & orthotics is desirable and will consider technical trade field; on-the-job training is provided
  • Applications from Orthopaedic Technologists/plaster technicians and Allied Health Assistants encouraged
  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills
  • Detail-focused and confident working to deadlines
  • Keen to share your knowledge and support junior colleagues
