About the Role
The Senior Officer – Strategic Projects is responsible for leading the planning and delivery of strategic initiatives that align with Parkerville Children and Youth Care's mission and values. This role will include leading and supporting a range of projects including continued development of Parkerville CYCs Outcomes Framework. This role supports organisational growth through a range of approaches including managing project documentation, engaging stakeholders, and ensuring evidence-based practice.
This is your chance to make an impact by:
• Undertake and manage strategic projects that contribute to organisational growth and improvement.
• Share lessons learned, best practices, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Support internal stakeholders in understanding their roles in projects.
• Draft quality position papers, proposals, and policy documentation based on strong evidence.
What We're Looking For
We need a critical thinker, driven to build continuous improvement who has:
• Relevant qualifications in project management, administration, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in administrative and operational support for complex, strategic projects in the social sector.
• Experience in organisational growth and/or services for vulnerable children, young people, and families.
• Strong skills in project planning, budgeting, monitoring, reporting, and evaluation.
• Effective stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse individuals and teams.
• Ability to collect, interpret, and analyse data and information.
• Strong decision-making skills with a values-driven, proactive approach.
• Knowledge of the social sector's context and challenges.
• Commitment to Child Safe Standards, inclusion and diversity, and elevating children's voices in service design and evaluation.
• Willingness to build cultural knowledge and competency.

Parkerville Children and Youth Care are uniquely positioned to provide the successful applicant with the following benefits.
• SCHADS Schedule B and Level – Level 5.1 – $51 per hour.
• EAP Service with Wellness resources
• Salary Packaging of up to $15,900
