Job Description
- Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to meet sales targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions for clients.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on account performance.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Account Manager should have:
- A proven track record in sales, particularly within the packaging or manufacturing sector.
- Strong client relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- A results-driven mindset with the ability to meet and exceed targets.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Sound knowledge of the packaging and manufacturing industry.
- A tertiary qualification in business, sales, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
