The opportunity

The Royal Freemasons community is seeking experienced and motivated Food Services Assistants to join our team at Centennial Lodge Residential Aged Care Facility in Wantirna.

The Hospitality Assistant is responsible for providing safe, quality food and beverage services to residents, ensuring individual nutritional needs and preferences are met. This role supports residents' well-being by creating an enjoyable dining experience, encouraging residents to enjoy their meals.

Key responsibilities include

  1. Maintaining a clean and well-presented dining environment.
  2. Preparing, serving, presenting, and delivering food and beverages according to the Food Safety Program.
  3. Serving the correct food and beverages to residents based on their dietary requirements.
  4. Providing high-standard customer service professionally during meal times.

Key Requirements

  1. Valid Police Clearance or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, or both, as required in the Aged Care sector.
  2. Encouraged to be vaccinated against Covid-19 (3 doses) and the Flu; proof of Covid-19 vaccination is required prior to commencement.
  3. Food Handling Certificate.
