We are currently seeking Hospitality Assistants (Food Service Assistants) to join our team.
Hospitality Assistants assist with meal preparation, cooking, and serving in the dining room or directly to residents in their rooms.
Maintaining a clean and neatly presented dining environment is essential.
Creativity and the ability to relate to older people, including those with dementia, illnesses, or disabilities, are important qualities.
You should be highly organized, self-motivated, and flexible in managing your workload.
Key Requirements:
A current Food Handlers certificate is preferred or a willingness to undertake Food Safety Training.
Prior experience in Food Services within Aged or Community Care is highly desirable.
Understanding of Food Safety Requirements.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Adaptability to changing environments.

Mandatory Requirements:
Completion of a police check is required prior to commencement, including an International Police Check if you have lived overseas for 12 months or more within the last 10 years.
All aged care workers are encouraged to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and to receive the flu vaccine.
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination must be provided before starting.
