Hospitality Assistant - Part Time Burwood, VIC

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the preparation, cooking and serving of meals in the dining room or directly to residents in their rooms
  • Ensure dining rooms are well kept and tables are neatly presented
  • Relate to older people, including those living with dementia, illness or disability
  • Be highly organised, self-motivated and able to manage time with flexible workloads
Key Requirements
  • A current Food Handlers certificate preferred or willingness to undertake Food Safety Training
  • Prior Food Services experience in Aged or Community Care (highly desirable)
  • Understanding of Food Safety Requirements
  • Ability to work within a team as well as autonomously
  • Adaptability to changes in the environment

Mandatory Requirements
  • Police check required for employees, contractors, labour hire and volunteers prior to commencement

  • All aged care workers are encouraged to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and to receive the flu vaccine; proof of COVID-19 vaccination may be required prior to commencement
