Are you someone who enjoys working outdoors, getting stuck into hands-on work, and making a real difference in your community? We're looking for Works Assistants to help maintain the City's parks, playgrounds, reserves, public amenities Botanic Gardens and green spaces. About the role : In this varied, on-the-go role, you'll :

  • Keep our public spaces clean, safe, and well-maintained
  • Support horticultural, turf maintenance and Botanic Gardens programs
  • Operate equipment and assist with small plant and truck tasks
  • Use mobile technology to plan and report on work
  • Be part of a team that takes pride in keeping the City looking great

What you'll bring :

Cert III in Horticulture, Civil Construction or relevant experienceWhite Card (Construction Induction)A passion for working outdoors and a strong work ethicReliability, teamwork, and problem-solving skills

Bonus points for : MR licence, Chemical Accreditation, First Aid, or Traffic Control experience. What's on offer?
