Job Overview

The role of Financial Assistant is a temporary full-time position supporting the Revenue and Expenditure team with financial activities on a rotation basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process accounts payable activities – maintain records, invoices, and reconcile supplier statements.
  • Prepare daily banking and reconcile cheques and deposits.
  • Perform accounts receivable activities – invoice and reconcile accounts, debt collection.
  • Process payroll activities – upload/process data, file updates, maintain, reconcile and report.
  • Respond to/follow up on payroll, accounts payable/debtor enquiries and file/maintain documentation.
  • Maintain petty cash float, cash handling and transfer of electronic funds.
  • Assist in the preparation of daily bank reconciliations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • CPA qualification or currently undertaking CPA studies.
  • Experience in computerised accounting and payroll systems.
  • Solid knowledge of accounting, payroll and debt recovery principles and practices.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy and a collaborative mindset.
  • Strong written and oral communication and customer service skills.
