Responsibilities- Support the charge in building disaster preparedness and resilience across CN
- Develop and integrate an all-hazards approach to disaster risk reduction
- Embed resilience into policies, procedures and service delivery
- Engage with internal teams and the community to promote preparedness and recovery strategies
- Manage effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, from local emergency management committees to community organisations and government agencies
- Contribute to emergency management plans, business continuity frameworks and crisis response strategies
- Support policy development and strategic planning related to community safety and organisational resilience

- Hours: 35-hour week, hybrid working that you design
- Location: Newcastle, New South Wales
- 35-hour working week with flexible/hybrid work arrangements
- 4 weeks of annual leave, 3 weeks of personal, plus 2 additional paid public holidays
- 17.5% annual leave loading yearly payment
