Disaster Resilience Specialist

This role is focused on disaster preparedness and community resilience. It involves developing a proactive approach to risk reduction, embedding resilience into organisational policies and procedures, and engaging with internal teams and the community.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and integrate an all-hazards approach to disaster risk reduction.
- Embed resilience into organisational policies and procedures.
- Engage with internal teams and the community to promote preparedness and recovery strategies.
- Manage relationships with stakeholders including emergency management committees, community organisations, and government agencies.
- Contribute to emergency management plans, business continuity frameworks, and crisis response strategies.
- Support policy development and strategic planning related to community safety and organisational resilience.
- 35-hour week with flexible work arrangements.
- Hybrid working model that you design.
