About the Role

Do you thrive on delivering transport excellence, managing complex freight networks, and driving performance through partnerships and innovation? We're excited to offer a key leadership opportunity to step into the role of National Transport Manager at IVE.

This role will lead the national transport function, ensuring cost-effective, compliant, and high-performing freight and delivery operations. You'll work closely with third-party providers, internal teams, and logistics leadership to maintain strong service standards, manage budgets, and implement continuous improvement initiatives that support the evolving needs of our business and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a national transport strategy aligned with business goals
• Lead transport operations across all states, ensuring consistency and service reliability
• Manage third-party transport providers — including contracts, performance, and compliance
• Monitor and optimise transport costs, routing, and delivery performance (DIFOT, lead times, etc.)
• Oversee compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR), WHS, and regulatory requirements
• Use transport systems (TMS) and logistics technologies to drive visibility and efficiency
• Provide reporting, insights, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership
• Collaborate cross-functionally with warehousing, planning, customer service, and commercial teams
• Lead or contribute to strategic logistics projects (e.g., site expansion, network redesigns)

What We're Looking For:

• Extensive experience managing national or large-scale transport operations
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage freight budgets and supplier contracts
• Deep knowledge of transport regulations (CoR, NHVR, WHS) and best practices
• Skilled in transport systems (TMS), ERP platforms, and data-driven decision-making
• Proven leadership capability across dispersed teams and supplier networks
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to navigate complexity, lead through change, and deliver consistent results
• Experience within a Distribution network
• Degree in Business, Logistics or Supply Chain
• 5+ years' experience in a similar leadership role
