Elgas Limited Transport Operations Manager - Queensland Lytton (QLD), Australia | req24352 This position provides leadership and direction for Transport Operations in Queensland, focusing on cost optimization and resource allocation.
What You Will Do Manage transport operations to improve budgeted unit costs while meeting safety, industry, and regulator standards.
Enhance profitability through benchmarking and operational reviews for cost efficiency.
Implement the Transport Safety Action Plan and ensure incident reporting and corrective actions.
Maintain fleet maintenance aligned with site plans and ensure compliance with DEL Chapters.
Oversee Basic Fatigue Management (BFM) to meet regulatory standards.
Prepare, submit, and manage the cost of sales budget and prepare monthly reports.
Recruit, train, motivate, and organize staff and contractors, ensuring training compliance.
Maintain industrial relations harmony, negotiate contractor agreements, and collaborate with regional and national managers.
What Makes You Great Teritary qualification in transport and/or logistics.5+ years experience in LPG or Petroleum industry or multi-drop transport management with DG focus.
Proven ability to manage remote teams.
Experience in transport management, cost control, change management, and strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
