About this role

As National Transport Manager, you will play a critical part in shaping our national transport operations.

This key leadership position will oversee the management of transport functions across all states, ensuring consistency and service reliability.

Key responsibilities include developing and executing a national transport strategy aligned with business goals, managing third-party transport providers, and overseeing compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR), WHS, and regulatory requirements.

A successful candidate will possess extensive experience managing national or large-scale transport operations, strong commercial acumen, and deep knowledge of transport regulations and best practices.

Additional requirements include skilled use of transport systems (TMS) and logistics technologies, proven leadership capability across dispersed teams and supplier networks, and strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a similar role
  • Degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain
  • Extensive knowledge of transportation regulations and best practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to navigate complexity and lead through change
