Assistant Boutique Manager - High-End Jewellery RetailPosition Overview

We are seeking an experienced and service-driven Assistant Boutique Manager to support the leadership of a high-end jewellery boutique. This role is pivotal in driving sales, developing a high-performing team, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences. Acting as a brand ambassador, you'll uphold luxury standards and operational excellence while helping to foster a supportive and results-focused culture.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Client Experience

  • Lead by example in delivering premium customer service

  • Drive sales, upselling, and CRM follow-up initiatives

  • Maintain accurate client records and ensure timely client communication

Team Leadership

  • Support training, development, and performance coaching

  • Contribute to a motivated, accountable, and well-supported team

  • Assist with onboarding and ongoing development of team members

Operations & Compliance

  • Oversee daily operations, end-of-day processes, and reporting

  • Maintain boutique rosters, diaries, and checklist compliance

  • Monitor store expenses and contribute to budget control

Visual Merchandising

  • Ensure boutique meets brand visual standards

  • Support product launches and promotional activity

  • Maintain showroom presentation and stock displays

WHS & Security

  • Ensure adherence to all safety and security protocols

  • Report maintenance and compliance issues promptly

  • Support completion of team WHS and compliance training

Internal Coordination

  • Liaise with internal departments including marketing and operations

  • Build strong relationships with suppliers and centre management

  • Represent the brand professionally in all interactions

What You'll Bring

  • At least 2 years of retail leadership experience

  • Strong communication and team development skills

  • Proven success in a sales-focused, customer-facing role

  • High attention to detail and professional presentation

  • Ability to interpret sales reports and meet business targets

Desirable: Experience in luxury or jewellery retail, and familiarity with CRM, POS, or repair/service systems.
